Sat down to continue studying the Book of Philippians but I was led to worship with “The Blessing” by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes on Spotify instead. Felt led to look for it on YouTube for the same song.
I ended up worshipping with this song three times.
I thought of three people and claimed God’s blessings for them as the Spirit led.
I give thanks, feeling very blessed, for God’s assurance and favour upon me and my family and my children and their children and their children….these words went on and on. I lift my children and grandkids to the Lord in prayer with thanksgiving and gratitude for His love and His divine protection.
Wanted to go back to the Book of Philippians but somehow the page on my open bible has turned to Ephesians.
“Which one Lord?” I asked.
Starting from verse 1, the word “walk” jumped up in verse 2.
I felt moved to highlight it.
“1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (NKJV)
As I read on, I saw two more “walks”.
“8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the [b]Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.”
“15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (I checked out some synonyms for circumspectly: warily, vigilantly, carefully, guardedly, thoughtfully.)
Then I hear V say:
"It's Time to Walk Again!"
I take that with some happy anticipation - does it mean we get to travel again? After being locked down within our little country for more than 18 months and hunkering down in my cave, I am looking forward to going out to see the world again!
"Yes, It is time to walk the land again."
I suddenly recalled that this is the Year of the letter “R” – it has been eight months already with no full restoration in sight. Will it take all 12 months before we see restoration, rejuvenation, resurrection and revival?
“Soon,” says V.
“Wherever you put your foot on, it will fill the land with the sweet fragrance of God’s love and the air with goodness, righteousness and truth. It will restore clarity, wisdom, thoughtfulness and soundness of mind.”
It’s time to go through my travel things again. Yay!
