The Mystery of the Well

On 28 October 2020, I was watching a documentary on National Geographic about rural China and the host talked about the concept of the well, 井 in Chinese, in ancient farming.
Apparently, land is arranged in nine parcels according to the well character, as follows:
Farmers 1 to 8 will plough and plant their parcel of land, including a part of the 9th parcel, the produce of which goes to the land owner, usually a feudal lord.
I was intrigued.
1/9th goes to the Lord!
I tapped on my calculator.
1 divide by 9 is 11.1111111% to infinity
“1111” is a sign given to us since Nov 2008.
Yanli also observed that if we add the two numbers across the centre “9”, they all add up to 9! Interesting.

During our worship meeting, I saw 4 squares joined together, like this, with the cross visible in the centre:
Next I saw the cross move out and another cross appeared behind it, like this:
It became the 井character.
Just about a week ago, we had, on the leading of the Holy Spirit, re-organised the COBS community into two Torches. I felt the two crosses represent the two Torches. Back to back, in sync with each other, we become a well, with the Lord occupying the centre, the 9th square holding us firmly together as one.
BACK TO BACK IN SYNC WITH EACH OTHER, WE BECOME A WELL, WITH THE LORD OCCUPYING THE CENTRE, THE 9TH SQUARE HOLDING US FIRMLY TOGETHER AS ONE
“1111” Finally Unravelled
Sharon then excitedly shares what she has seen in a vision just a day ago. She too had seen a square and they separated into 4 lines as follows:
And they became 1111!
I understand now! 1111 is the 9th square. It is the Lord!
1111 IS THE 9TH SQUARE. IT IS THE LORD!
Yet another mystery unravelled after more than a decade of being led by 1111 to many places around the world.
The Lord is Our Provider
Sharon continues: “Next the 1111 move into position and became a 米.”
This is the Chinese character for “rice”, which Michael had seen when we were led to his hometown in Qingdao, Eastern China, on a spiritual mission about ten years ago. It is where the sun had danced for us; a story to be told another day.
I TAKE IT AS AN ASSURANCE THAT THE LORD IS OUR PROVIDER AND WILL TAKE CARE OF THE HUNGRY IN ASIA
Rice is a staple for the Chinese and of most Asian countries. It is the most important source of food and energy for us. I take it as an assurance that the Lord is our Provider and will take care of the hungry in Asia as the pandemic continues; made worse in the face of rising floods and disasters in recent months which have wiped out many crops.
The Lord is Our Guide
“Finally, they became a direction indicator, like this” Sharon shows me her notes as she relates:
Our spirits tingling with joy as we looked at each other’s notes, I am gratified and thankful that we have Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, to provide for each of us and to guide us in these dark and difficult times.
Our Buddy in Christ
V: if the centre of the well, the 9th plot, is given to the Lord, it will be filled with living waters that waters the other 8 plots. If it is not, then it becomes a death trap: Deep and Dark.
I thought about what Yanli had shared earlier, that at opposite ends, the numbers always add to nine – which is the Lord’s.
Whichever plot of land God has assigned us, God has also provided each of us the perfect partner or buddy to cross-check with one another. As long as the Lord is in the centre of our heart in our discussions and everything adds up to the Lord, we will not end up with any doctrinal conflict or misunderstanding.
Instead, we will refresh and nourish one another with His rhema word and it will lead us to life, abundant and full. It is also God’s reminder that we always need someone, so that we will not be deluded in dark times like this.
My Prayer for COBS Members
I believe that 2021, while challenging, is a time where God is opening up golden opportunities for wealth transfer and abundance. May the walls of our wells be strong and secure so that the rivers of living water flowing in us will not leak out from our spiritual life.
May we not live only for ourselves but may we refresh others who are tired and thirsty. May we be good to our buddies in Christ; to hold on and support each other, to watch out for one another and to love one another as the Lord commanded.
I do believe that God is not done with speaking about the well; especially how it is tied to Chinese history and culture. I await more revelations in time to come.
